The day is fast approaching and my baby will be a missionary! I have decided that the best way to let others know how soon-to-be "Elder Peacock" will be doing on his mission is to start blogging about it. We are so excited, and a bit anxious that Skyler will be entering the mission field soon. I know he is soooo ready. He has quit his job, gotten his wisdom teeth out, received his passport, (that he will hopefully be able to use....) now all that we are waiting for, is the call!
Well, there is that one last interview with the stake president. He was out of town for two weeks and it was killing Skyler. He is hanging in there though. He will meet with him on July 11th and then his papers should be submitted to church HQ from there.
This will be fun for me! I am excited to keep this blog updated with all of the spiritually wonderful things that will be happening with Skyler. He is a very devoted and willing servant of our Heavenly Father and our brother, Jesus Christ. He will serve the Lord faithfully and diligently on his mission. Stay tuned for all the details.....
