Merry Christmas -- Christmas letter from Elder Peacock!

Everything is going great!  It's Christmas Eve here in the good ole MTC, or in portuguese we say CTM, which is kind of neat. How is everybody doing? I miss you all very much and pray for you all throughout the day. I'm really excited! So far we have met one GA from the '70, Eduardo Gavaretta and had a devotional from another elder from the '70, Shayne M. Bowen. The devotional's are so awesome. We had another one from a brother named Ted Gibbons, and he basically acted as one of Joseph Smith close friends from back in that time. It's kind of hard to explain, but he did such an amazing job. But, we have like 4 devotionals in the next 3 days and everybody is expecting at least one of the 12 or first presidency, so next week you will all find out who it was, and I know it's going to be amazing! I read in the bible from Luke chapter 2 where it told about the birth of Christ and I would challange you to all read that together and always remember the true reason for Christmas and to forget about ourselves. Try and give a gift to Christ this whole next year, not just during this holiday season. Make a change about ourselves for the better because that is one way we can give back and show love for Jesus. Also, go read Mosiah 2:17 and find out what else we can do to show our love for God. It's great to receive, but I promise, it is so, so much better to give! And always make sure we give back to Christ and always remember that he gave us the greatest gift of all and made it possible for us to live as a family FOREVER and with our heavenly father.

I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas, and remembers our Savior. Have everyone do a little part in the next e-mail and tell me all about christmas. I love you all so much and am thankful that we can be an eternal family.

Love,

Elder Peacock
