Easter was good. It was a 3 day weekend of celebrating and festivities here for everyone. And today is Portugal´s 4th of July, so the celebrating continues and every now and then random fireworks go off in the distance, and middle of the day. Last week was kind of slow and we didn't get as much done as usual because every investigator we have (except for one) was out of town. Oh, something cool though -- the ward (and actually the stake) here that I am in, it's their temple week. So, this morning they all met together at the stake center to get on a huge bus and travel to Madrid, Spain to go to the temple. And at the temple they have a place to stay where you can just wake up and walk underground directly into the temple. It´s pretty awesome to see the sacrifices that some of the people here make to go to the temple. I can´t wait until they get the temple built here, and I can´t wait until I can go to it. And I can´t wait to go to the temple again when I get home (in a couple months of 20). Actually 2 months ago today I got to Portugal. It is crazy how fast time is going. The language is getting better and I'm getting more confident and caring less about messing up and saying something stupid. But, it's so fun! The other day we had a street meeting in the park and there was a lady just sitting there for a while, so I decided to just go talk to her and we talked about Easter and church for a good 15 minutes. Yeah, when I call on Mother's Day it will probably be around 4 or 5pm my time. Well, love you all.
Love,
Elder Peacock
